The Knights have struggled as of late. Can they turn it around in the new year?

The Middletown High School varsity girls basketball team will look to start the second half of their season off with a win on Jan. 6th when they take on the Linganore High School Lancers at 7 p.m.

Middletown will look to start off the new year with a win as they struggled in their very last games of 2013 losing three out of their last four games.

Middletown struggled near the end of 2013, with double-digit losses to New Town High School and the Oakdale High School Bears, along with a five point loss to a struggling Urbana High School Hawks team.

The main reason for the struggles has been lackluster offensive production, as the Knights have averaged just 44.5 points over the last four games.

The Knights (4-3) will have a chance to get back on the right track tonight when the y take on the Lancers (0-5) who are still trying to find their rhythm under first year head coach Kathryn Linehan.
