Monday, April 29

Boys Tennis wins 5-0 over Smithsburg. Continuing their undefeated record at 13-0.

Girls Tennis wins 5-0 over Smithsburg. Staying undefeated at 15-0.   

Baseball wins 5-2 over Smithsburg. Improving their record to 13-3.

Softball wins 12-0 over Smithsburg. Improving to 8-8.

 

Tuesday, April 30

Boys Tennis beats Boonsboro, 5-0. Adding to their unblemished record at 14-0.

Girls Tennis beats Boonsboro, 5-0. Continuing their unbeaten streak at 16-0.

Girls lacrosse drops game against century, 15-22. Losing their first game of the year and falling to 11-1.

 

Wednesday, May 1

Baseball is defeated by Linganore, 9-8. Dropping their record to 13-4.

Softball loses to Linganore, 5-6. Falling now to 8-9.

Boys Tennis beats Linganore, 5-0. Staying undefeated at 15-0.

Girls Tennis beats Linganore, 5-0. Still unbeaten at 17-0.

The MHS track team ran in the CMC Track Meet at Oakdale.

 

Thursday, May 2

Baseball loses to Urbana, 4-2. Dropping to 13-5.

Softball beats Urbana, 4-3. Going back to .500 on the year at 9-9.

Boys Lacrosse defeats Century 10-4 on senior night. Improving their record to 9-3.

Boys tennis falls to Urbana, 5-0. Dropping their first match of the year and finishing the season with a record of 15-1, the most wins in a season in school history.

Girls Tennis defeats Urbana, 3-2, ending the hawks historic 3 year winning streak and finishing the season unbeaten at 18-0.

 

Friday, May 3

Boys Baseball falls to Frederick, 6-5. Falling to 13-6.

Reid Fedors is a senior at Middletown High School and is in his fifth semester of journalism. He is the livestream managing editor, and a part of the sports staff. He plans on attending a four year university and getting his bachelor’s degree and going on to graduate school. Reid enjoys to watch football and basketball games and to go out and eat with friends.

Jake Stafford is a senior at Middletown High School and in his sixth semester of journalism. He is the newsroom managing editor alongside Audrey Fisher. He is attending Lehigh University where he will study economics and get his bachelors. He swims year round for Monocacy Aquatic Club and intends on swimming at Lehigh as well. Jake’s goal is to work on Wall Street following the completion of his MBA. His hobbies include watching football with friends, watching Netflix, and playing video games.
Haley Miller, Round Table reporter
Haley Miller is a freshman at Middletown High School this year. This is her first semester in journalism although she plans on taking it for the rest of high school. Haley plays volleyball and is on the junior varsity team for MHS this year. She also enjoys taking pictures and videos. Haley is excited for this semester in journalism and hopes to learn a lot and better her writing skills.
