Brittain Altomare, a junior at Middletown High School, is well known for her embarrassing stories, but especially her care-free personality when these events occur.

One of them was this past summer, while at University of Delaware for a lacrosse tournament.

“After our games, a few of us from the team went to TGIF to get some dinner. After eating, my teammates and I were outside of the restaurant waiting for our parents to be done talking and such inside. A woman came up to us and told us that right through the glass of the restaurant was the really cute UVA boy’s lacrosse team. Catching on immediately, the girls ran over to get a good look at all the hot boys. As I tried to catch up, I sprinted across the sidewalk. Not looking ahead of me, I ran into a stop sign and fell straight back. My face getting redder by the second, I slowly looked up, realizing all of my friends were on the ground laughing at me. Trying to look cool, I stood up and began to giggle, but to make things worse, the whole UVA boy’s lacrosse team was staring through the glass laughing at me.”
