Nickelback changes the face of music

In this world, there are few bands that soar with the eagles like Nickelback.

They are a rock in the sea of music, unchanging for almost twenty years. They stand strong, defying to change or show any type of evolution. They refuse to allow music to progress. This is what every musician should strive for.

However, Chad Kroeger, lead singer/songwriter, has a voice that is the most innovative thing in music, even though Eddie Vedder, Kurt Cobain and countless others sang the exact same way in the nineties. However, Kroeger just does it better.

Kroeger is the voice of a generation, though he is almost twenty years older than his target audience. He is in touch with the kids these days as proven by the song “Rockstar”.

The song encapsulates what it is like to be a teenager right now. “Everyone just wants to be a big rock star”; truer and more relevant words have never been spoken.

One can not overstate their influence on teenage fashion either. The band’s elaborate use of t-shirts, wristbands, and unquestionably the most important aspect, Chad Kroeger’s hair are just a few examples of their trend setting ways. So many teenagers these days sport this sharp style, all thanks to Kroeger.

Without Nickelback’s musical and lyrical prowess, America’s music scene might have progressed but luckily Nickelback is around to prevent that, pumping out relevant, realist music for the masses.
