Middletown High School's varsity football team won the State Championship game against Frederick Douglass High School on Dec. 3, with a final score of 42-6. Academic awards recognize exceptional students

Middletown High School students who had a 3.5 grade point average or higher were commended on Nov. 17. The students were given a letter and a lamp pin if it was the first time they had recieved an award, otherwise they were given a bar pin.
