Jazz Band to put on concert

On Nov 17 the Middletown High School Jazz Band will be holding a concert in the auditorium from 7-8 pm. This will be the first of a few concerts throughout the year culminating in Knight Club in May.

This year’s Jazz Band has nine new members and is directed by Matthew Shearer. The concert will feature such songs as “Children of Sanchez”, and “Struttin’ With Some Bar-B-Que”.

MHS Senior Matt Thomas, who is the first trumpet, said, ”I am very excited for this concert.

The Jazz Band will make appearances this year at MHS basketball games this winter as well.
