Apple Cake

Ingredients: Apple pie filling ( 5 peeled and cored, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/2 stick  butter, 1 tsp cinnamon and 1/2 teaspoon salt), 2 tsp cinnamon, 1 cup brown sugar, 3 cups flour, 1 cup granulated sugar, 1 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 cup butter, 3 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp salt, 3 eggs, 2 Tbsp butter

Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 13×9 inch pan. Make apple pie filling and combine with cinnamon, set aside. Mix together flour, granulated sugar, butter, baking powder, salt, and milk. Add eggs. Pour 1/4 to 1/2 of the batter into pan. Spread 1/2 of the apple pie filling on top of the batter. Sprinkle 1/2 cup brown sugar on top of apples. Pour out the rest of the batter. Put the remainder of the apple pie filling and brown sugar on top. Make glaze(equal parts butter and brown sugar) and pour on top(optional). Bake for 45 minutes.
