Makayla Burdette is a sophomore at Middletown High School and this is her second semester of journalism. She is planning to attend a four-year college but has not yet decided what her major is. Her favorite subject in school is lunch and she really enjoys quality time with her family. Her favorite movie is “High School Musical” and her favorite actor is Nick Robinson. Makayla cannot wait to be more active in the morning broadcast at MHS and getting to improve her journalism skills.

Jade Ruggieri is a junior at Middletown High School and is in her fifth semester in journalism. Her favorite class besides journalism is English. She binges Netflix all night and some of her favorite shows are “Grey’s Anatomy” and "How I Met Your Mother." In her free time, Jade is a Varsity Cheerleader during basketball season. Planning on pursuing broadcast journalism, Jade hopes to attend her dream college at New York University.
