O.J. Simpson was released from prison on parole just after midnight on October 1. In September 2007 Simpson attacked two men in a Las Vegas hotel in hopes of retrieving a piece of sports memorabilia he claimed was stolen from his home. On October 3, 2008, Simpson was sentenced to 33 years in prison with a 9 year-minimum. After 9 years, Simpson has been released on parole, which has brought controversy to his early release and talk of his murder trial in 1995. Middletown students react to Simpson’s recent release.
