The 1944 Christmas classic has been taking heat recently by the #metoo movement and has been removed from some radio stations for accusations such as “date rape” going off of lyrics such as “Say what’s in this drink” and the constant refusal of the man letting the woman leave. Round Table reporter Nic Bradley asked students and staff on their reaction to this developing controversy.
