The boys tennis team will take on Urbana High School at four o’clock today at home. The boys hope to knock off the undefeated hawks and win the regular season county championship. Come out and support the Knights!

Middletown Softball defeated Brunswick earlier this week with a score of six to two and improved their record to fourteen and four.  Lexi Hofflinger was the winning pitcher with three strikeouts and Mikaylah Toms got the save.  Emma Watt hit a homerun and Caitlyn Fisher hit a double with two RBI’s.  Their next game is scheduled for today at home versus Urbana.

Come out tonight to Keller Field to cheer on the MHS Baseball team on senior night as they take on the Urbana Hawks. Senior night ceremonies start at 3:45 with first pitch at 4:00.

The boys and girls track and field teams competed yesterday at the Frederick County CMC championships.  The boys county champions were Marquis Lauer in the one hundred and Kevin Long in the discus.  On the girls side, Reilly Caldwell was a double champion in the sixteen hundred and thirty-two hundred. Overall there were thirty-five different MHS athletes that scored in at least one event!

In the Gambrill division of the track meet, we had the following champions:  Marquis Lauer, the team of Straits, Coblentz, Ngo, and Mcdermott; Felicia Clements, Reilly Caldwell, Kelvin Ngo, the team of Green, Johnson, Hayes, and Lauer; Izzy Hatfield, Alex Hayes, Riley McDermott, Freddy Roberts, Aubrey Troop, Kevin Long, Chris Wiingaard, and Coralynn Wells.  All of these champions plus the complete effort by the rest of the team helped MHS win the Gambrill division on the girls side by eighty-one points and on the guys side by one hundred and five points. Congratulations to all!
