Today is the last day to cast your vote for spirit week dress-up days. Information can be found on the SGA board in the cafeteria.

The Middletown FFA is creating a float for the Heritage Day Parade. We will be working on the float today from 2:30 to 3:30, and tomorrow from 12:30 until we are done but no later than 2:30. Please see Mrs. Shriner or Mrs. Seiser for more details and information on riding the float. Anyone interested in riding on the float can meet us at eight in the morning on Saturday.

Science National Honor Society Applications for new members are located on the bulletin board outside of room 307. There will be a brief Science National Honor Society meeting today for existing members immediately after school in room 307.

“See You At The Pole” will be held tomorrow morning in the stadium at six forty-five a.m. “See You At The Pole” is a worldwide day of students gathering at their flagpoles to pray for their schools, their communities, and their country. Everyone is welcome to attend.

The Drama Boosters will be hosting a planning meeting today from 2:30 until four in room 508. All parents, students, gargoyles and ghouls interested in participating this year are welcomed to attend.
There are many ways to be a part of the project. We need plenty of scare specialists, batty builders, maniacal make-up aficionados, and trauma-inducing tech people to help terrify our community. See Ms. Denton or Mrs. Duva for additional information.

Attention hockey lovers: If you are interested in playing ice hockey for our Middletown Knights team, please see Mr. Mattingly in room 429 for information.

The Middletown Freshmen football team fought hard for another win last night against Linganore. They managed to put twenty-eight points on the board and hold Linganore to fourteen. Go Knights!

Congratulations to JV and Varsity Volleyball who both swept the Liberty Lions last night. JV won two to zero and was led by Jimenia Alvarez with six aces. Varsity gave Liberty their first loss of the season beating them three to zero. Varsity was led by Erika Pritchard with sixteen kills and thirteen digs, Ellie Collins with four blocks, Hayden O’Connor and Paige Bussard with nine digs each and Ashley Catania with twenty-three assists. Volleyball is home tonight versus Walkersville.
