Attention National Honor Society members and all MHS students. Do you want to give back to the community and help those in need of a better home? Come volunteer with us on Middletown’s Rebuilding Together project in Emmitsburg this Saturday, April twenty-sixth, from eight to four PM. All help is appreciated and there is a job for everyone! If you like to have fun and fix up run-down homes, pick up a permission slip from Ms. Chestnutt or Mrs. Steger and bring a friend with you!

Seniors: As you hear back from colleges, please let the counseling office know where you have been accepted.  We enjoy sharing in your good news!

Wednesday, April twenty-third is the final day for voting for the drama awards.  Pick up a ballot from Mrs. Nicklas in 508. Drama Banquet forms are available on the drama board in the cafeteria.

The FCPS School Recycling was sent on Monday, ranking schools on the recycling per capita.  In the high school category, Middletown High was ranked third behind only Urbana High and Governor Thomas Johnson High. Congratulations staff and students for your efforts to recycle and let’s make a special effort to recycle today to commemorate Earth Day!

FFA Officer Applications are due back by Wednesday April twenty-third at two thirty.

Congratulations to the girls tennis team for their win against Governor Thomas Johnson five to zero and to the boys tennis team who won four to one. Good luck against Urbana this afternoon!
