Attention all students: Tomorrow is Club “B” day. Please check the lists located outside the Media Center and cafeteria to find your club assignment and location.

Attention seniors: Today during all lunch shifts, yearbook staff members will be distributing Senior Information Forms. These forms are a chance for you to tell us what is interesting about you and to pick a senior quote, which might lead to you being featured in the yearbook. You may return the forms to the desk outside Lab 312, Mr. Kady’s classroom, or give it to somebody on yearbook. Staff members will also be distributing forms for baby ads in the back of the book. Take those forms home and give them to your parents. If you aren’t here during lunch, see Mr. Kady.

Seniors: If you are a high achieving student and are interested in applying for scholarships to attend either the University of Virginia or Davidson College, please see Ms. Langley in the Counseling Center.

Juniors and Seniors: Meeting with college reps who visit MHS is a great way to get a first look at colleges without all of the time and travel. If you would like to attend one of the presentations, please sign up through your Naviance account on your own or at the Counseling Center. Colleges visiting MHS next week include Southern Vermont, Colgate University, Cedar Crest, Marymount Manhattan, IUP: Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Washington College, and West Virginia State University.

Every day there are great things happening at Middletown High School! Our Staff Member of the Month recognition program allows teachers, students, and parents to nominate those staff members they feel deserve special recognition. To nominate a staff member, please go to the MHS website and look for the form under the Parents and Students tab.

Sophomore Class Club Members: If you are interested in joining the Sophomore Class Executive Board, please pick up an application in Mrs. Bator’s Room, 215. Applications are due by October 1 and positions will be posted at the next Club Meeting.

Seniors: If you are interested in pursuing advanced degrees in science or engineering, and you are interested in attending UMBC, see Ms. Langley about the Meyerhoff Scholarship.

Terrifying things are in the works for the 2014 Nightmare in the Valley Haunted House and there are many ways to be a part of the project. Interested students should attend the planning meeting tomorrow at two thirty in Room 508. See Ms. Denton or Mrs. Duva for additional information.
