Come out for a free movie night tonight at 8:00 in the auditorium sponsored by the SGA. We will be watching How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Popcorn is free and drinks and candy will be available for purchase. If you would like to come see this movie, please stop by the school store in the cafeteria during lunch to pick up a free ticket! We need to have at least fifty students planning to attend in order to show the movie.
Over a million young people experience homelessness in the US every year. One item they often request? A pair of jeans. Please donate your gently used jeans for our Teens for Jeans Drive. The bin is located in the cafeteria.
We have two holiday spirit days next week. Monday, Dec. 21 is flannel day and Tuesday, Dec. 23 is ugly sweater and Santa Hat Day.
Last night the wrestlers beat the defending state champions, South Carroll, with a score
of 60-15. Winning their matches were Ethan Grossnickle, Danny Bertoni, Mark Guglielmini,
Adam Bain, Josh Paige, Casey McCulley, Will Davis, CJ Ferguson, Jacob Ridgely, and
Tucker Ziegler. The Knights will compete in one of the East Coast’s toughest tournaments on Jan. 28 and 29 at Mount Mat Madness at McDonough High School in Baltimore. Good luck wrestlers!
The MHS Ice Hockey takes the ice tonight at 7:00 against Frederick County. Come out and feel the excitement that only hockey can deliver!
