All National Honor Society Applications are due tomorrow to Ms. MacMillan. Hard copy applications are due by the end of the school day in the front office. Electronic applications are due no later than midnight tomorrow evening.

Seniors: Are you planning to apply to the University of Maryland or UMBC? If so, it is important for you to meet the November first application deadlines. You only have five weeks to get your applications completed, get teacher and counselor recommendations, and send your SAT or ACT test scores. Be sure to request your teacher and counselor recommendations this week and see your counselor if you have any questions.

Students taking Virtual on-line classes should have received an email from Mrs. Bator regarding how to sign up for your proctored mid-term exams. If you have not received an email to your google account or cannot access the sign-up sheet, please see Mrs. Bator in Room 215.

Juniors and Seniors: College representatives from JMU will be here tomorrow. If you want to attend the presentation, please sign up through your Naviance account on your own or at the Counseling Center. Colleges visiting MHS on Wednesday include Lynchburg College, University of Delaware, and Old Dominion University.

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes will meet Tuesday morning before school at six forty-five in Room 311. Everyone is welcome for a time of faith, fellowship, food, and fun. That’s tomorrow morning before school at six forty-five. Also, FCA will meet during Club Day on Wednesday in the cafeteria.

Attention everyone who is interested in participating in the volleyball tournament: Forms and money are due to Mrs. Anderson in room 516 by tomorrow. If your team is ready to have some volleyball fun, please drop off your form in Room 516.

The Boys Cross Country team ran in the Hereford Invitational “Bull Run” on Saturday. They placed fourteenth overall in the Boys Medium School Division. David Kelsey, Kelvin Ngo, Reese Whitesell, Chris Burgenson, and Riley McDermott scored for the varsity. In the JV race, Cosimo Tauraso took nineteenth place overall out of a field of five hundred and forty-four runners. It was mass confusion with the school undergoing renovation, but our boys still conquered the hill! Next race is Thursday at Smithsburg.

Congratulations to the Varsity volleyball team who won the Thomas Johnson Varsity Tournament on Saturday. Knights came off first off their net with a record of eight and one and advanced to the semifinals where they defeated Winters Mill two to zero. The Knights were led by Erika Pritchard with nine kills, Paige Bussard with six kills, Ellie Collins with four kills, two blocks and Ashley Catania with twenty-four assists, beating Howard two to zero in the finals. Volleyball heads back to TJ tonight for their conference match.

Come out and support the Unified Tennis team today at three thirty on the back tennis courts as they take on the Brunswick Railroaders.
