Any senior who wishes to participate in costume day on Friday, October thirty-first, must pick up a copy of the costume guidelines and initial that they were received. Guidelines are available at the school bookstore during lunches, from Mrs. Anderson in Room 516 and from Mrs. Boyll in learning cottage number two.

Would you like to earn meritorious service hours? Middletown Elementary School is looking for some high school helpers to tutor from two twenty-five to three twenty-five. If you are interested, please see Mr. Zimmer in room 315.

Are you interested in joining a new club? Would you like to be a buddy for someone? Sign up for Best Buddies Club during new club sign up week. See Mrs. Bator or Mrs. Bagnell for details.

Senior and juniors: The following colleges are visiting today: Towson University at ten a.m. and Bridgewater College at one p.m. If you are interested in attending but haven’t signed up, please see Ms. Dillard in the Counseling Office before the visit to be added to the list.

Make-up photo day is tomorrow. Bring a completed order form and check if you want to order photos. Forms are available in Room 312 during all lunch shifts today. Students who are getting a photo taken for use in the yearbook only, do not have to pay a fee. Students who wish to have their photos retaken must bring their original photos with them on Friday. If you have any questions please see Mr. Kady in Room 312.

Science National Honor Society letters were given to teachers to be distributed in block one today. Any questions about the acceptance process should be directed to Mrs. Brandt in room 307. All members of the Science National Honor Society should check the bulletin board by Mrs. Brandt’s room for announcements and information about upcoming events, including our first mandatory meeting.

Any freshman that ordered a class of 2018 t-shirt should pick it up from Mrs. Anderson in Room 516.

The MHS field hockey team defeated Oakdale last night in a tough fought, well matched game. Oakdale scored first and then Ali Williams scored in the second half to tie up the match. Neither team scored in the first overtime but in the second overtime, Laura Myers found the back of the goal for MHS to win the game! MHS will advance to round three next week.
