The SGA is collecting gently used jeans for local shelters in our community. Please bring in your donations by Dec. 23 and place them in the box in the cafeteria.

We have two holiday spirit days next week. Monday, Dec. 22 is flannel day and Tuesday, Dec. 23 is ugly sweater and Santa Hat Day.

The SGA will be sponsoring a free movie night on Friday, Dec. 19. We will be watching How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Popcorn will be provided and drinks and candy will be available for purchase.

Come to the free workshop put on by the horticulture class today and make a holiday evergreen arrangement to take home with you. The workshop is from 2:30-3:30 in Room 439.

Last night the Knights swimming and diving team competed against Tuscarora. The boys won their meet with a score of 121-55. The girls lost with a score of 88-82. Multiple winners included Tyler Sheppard, John Pressly, Alex Roumeliotis, Hayden Springer, Jacob Boone, Raegan Corcoran, Kylie Slusher and Maddie Martin. Jonathan Tatem won the diving portion.

The MHS Ice Hockey team destroyed Walkersville last night 7-0, outshooting the Lions 49-3. James Early and Joe Devine combined for the shutout. The Knights take the ice this Friday at 7:00 against Frederick County. Come out and feel the excitement that only hockey can deliver!

The Middletown Wrestlers defeated Thomas Johnson last night 76-0 under their new dome light and sound system. Pinning for the Knights were Joshua Grossnickle, Mark Guglielmini, Adam Bain, Joshua Paige, Casey McCauley, Will Davis, Jacob Ridgley, Tucker Ziegler, and Tyler Clemmer. The Knights improve their record to 9-3 on the season.
