National English Honor Society Members: Please stop by Ms. Leonard’s Room and pick up information to subscribe to Remind. NEHS members can vote for officers in Room 510 today through Friday, February twenty-seventh.

Attention Seniors: If you are interested in helping with, or performing in the 2015 Baccalaureate please come to the first meeting tonight at seven PM in Room 210. Parents are welcome too!

Any student interested in participating in Unified Track this spring, please see Ms. Bator in Room 215 or Ms. Bagnell in Guidance. First meeting and practice will be on March ninth at two thirty.

Attention NHS members: The Knights Connection will be held at Middletown Middle School today at two twenty.

The Spanish Honor Society will meet today after school in Learning Cottage one.

Voting has begun for the next Student Member of the Board of Education. The role of the student member is to bring a student viewpoint on educational issues to Board Of Education meetings. The function is not to represent any particular special-interest group of students on an issue but rather to respect the diversity of students’ viewpoints, to improve communication between the student body, staff and Board Of Education members and to inform students of policies and decisions executed by the Board Of Education. Voting will run through March fourth and information can be found on the SGA board in the cafeteria.

Mu Alpha Theta, the National Mathematics Honor Society is now accepting applications for new membership. Please return all completed applications to Mr. Schmidt by February twenty-fifth. Applications are outside room 524.

The volleyball tournament is coming soon on March thirteenth right after school! You must have a completed waiver to participate in the games. Anyone not playing is encouraged to come and enjoy the fun and cheer on your favorite team! See Mrs. Anderson in room 516 if you have any questions.

Attention all artists: Frederick County Public Libraries are holding their annual contest to design the bookmark for the summer reading program. This year’s theme is Every Hero Has a Story, and there will be winners in five categories, including one for high school students. Pick up an entry form in the MHS Media Center, and get started on your creation today!

Come out tonight to Dempsey’s Grill from four to eight and help support the Marching Knights. Mention the Knights Marching Band when you order and a portion of the proceeds will go to support the MHS band program.

The MHS Ice Hockey team’s incredible season came to a close last night as they fell to number one ranked Winston Churchill. This concluded the single greatest season in Middletown Hockey history, seeing the Knights take both the league and Regional championships! Congratulations to Sean Mickelson, Liam Cotera, Dale Gaskins, Brandon Jones, Derek Gaskins, Jack Hurt, Ryan Gilroy, Jake Ballentine, Sam Bizzell, Eric Bertulaitis, Trey Zeiler, Kaitlin Parent, Jordyn Cholish, James Early and Joe Devine on a great year. And a special thanks to all of the fans who came out to support the team!

Congrats to the Knight Wrestlers for winning the county championship Friday night here at Middletown High School! The Knights had eight wrestlers in the finals. Champions include Joshua Grossnickle, Danny Bertoni, Mark Guglielmini, and Tucker Ziegler. Placing second were Casey McCauley, Will Davis, Jake Ridgely, and Sean Mullican. Taking third were Adam Bain and Ethan Grossnickle.

Agriculture and FFA have come a long way since it began. Sit back and watch this video and see if you can spot some Middletown FFA members.
