Girls Swimming and Diving: Knights look to roll to victory against Railroaders

Middletown is off to a good start to the season after two big wins. They can keep the momentum going with a win over Brunswick.

The Middletown High School Knights girls swimming and diving team will look to stop from where they left off at the break when they take on the Brunswick High School Railroaders on Jan. 6th at 6 p.m.

The Knights (2-0) started off the season well scoring 100 points in their first two meets of the season, putting up 138 against the Catoctin High School Cougars to win by 100 and then scoring 122 points against the Urbana High School Hawks who are a county powerhouse in swimming and diving.

Middletown will have a good chance to extend their record to 3-0 as they take on a Railroaders team who only has 13 swimmers and is lacking the depth in swimmers that the Middletown team has.

The meet will be unusual as their will be multiple swimmers for Middletown who will be swimming in events they are not used to as the Knights will use the meet as an opportunity to help get experience to some of the younger swimmers on the team.
