“Love of beauty is taste. The creation of beauty is Art”, by Ralph Waldo Emerson. The Reflection’s Program is quickly coming to a close. There are six day’s left BUT it is not too late to begin an idea for this program. Why? Because you have a two hour dismissal today and no school on Monday. Just enough time to develop an idea and complete it by next Thursday for delivery on Friday. Consider one or more of the categories: Dance Choreograhpy, Film, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, and Visual Arts. The theme is “Beauty is…” Get applications and rubrics in the Media Center. All original art work is due November sixth at two thirty PM.

There will be no boys’ Lacrosse conditioning today due to the early dismissal.

FFA members: The corn maze activity for tonight is canceled.

The Improv Troupe will meet today at 12:30 in the auditorium.

Work Study, Interns and SSL tutors are reminded to turn in their October time sheets to Mr. Zimmer today!

Middletown field hockey team lost their second round of regional play offs yesterday. It was a heart-breaking one to zero loss to Poolesville. The girls played a great game and fought hard. Congratulations on a great season!

Friday, October 30, will be the last day that students can register for Flexible Evening High School classes that begin in November.

Congratulations to the JV Volleyball team on a great finish to their season last night. The JV beat the TJ Patriots ending the season with a record of twelve and two. Great job JV. The Varsity Volleyball team lost a hard fought match last night to TJ. They end their regular season nine and five. The Varsity team starts play offs next week. Good luck Knights.
