This is Mason Machak’s first year in journalism at MHS. He is a senior in high school and plans to attend West Virginia University. He enjoys going hiking and fishing with friends and family on a daily basis, but also attends local school events. Mason also plays for the high school baseball team; he is looking forward to his fourth year on the team and is in search of a state champion title. He is excited to report and broadcast the sporting events going on in the fall as well as his energetic personality that he brings to the school newspaper.
