The 2018 prom court has been decided. Thanks to all who voted. Your Middletown High School 2018 prom court is as follows:

For Prom King: Matt Dillard, Zach Domalik, Mark Evich, Matt Evich, Camden Farrow, Joseph Glover, Ethan Joseph, Owen Migdal, James Pugh, and Trey Zieler.

For Prom Queen: Shaina Barnett, Madison Bedri, Haven Brandenberg, Megan Cleverly, Hannah Elliott, Lexi Hofflinger, Meg Kady, Mikayla Mattheis, Emily Pusy, and Tess Queen.     

Congratulations to all! If you were chosen to be on the court, please see Mrs. Gibson at the Prom Ticket table during lunch today.

The 2018 Prom is Friday, May 11th at the Myersville Banquet Center. The prom is 8:00 – 11:00 PM.Tickets are on sale during all lunch shifts through Thursday.  Tickets will NOT be sold on Friday. In order to purchase tickets – you need to have a Dance Guidelines Form signed for each ticket purchased. You also must make sure you have no financial obligations, including money for books.

All MHS sophomores and juniors actively studying dance who are interested in induction into the National Honor Society for Dance Arts should submit their name to Ms. Langley no later than this Friday, May eleventh.

Former and current Athletic Coaching class students are reminded to turn in their permission slips for Middletown Elementary School’s Field Day.  See Coach Leber if you have questions.

Due to testing for the next two weeks, the media center may be used for silent work/printing only during all blocks–this includes lunch shifts.

Just a reminder: if you need to use the media center during Knight’s Quest, you  MUST sign up in the media center before eight-thirty every day. If you are not requested for that day, you may not use the media center during Knight’s Quest.

This Wednesday through Friday, members of the MHS Key Club Relay for Life team will be collecting donations during all lunch shifts. All money collected will be donated to the American Cancer Society in honor of Deputy Smothers.

Make sure to come out and support both lacrosse teams as the playoffs begin. Boys play Saturday @2 at Poolesville and Girls play Saturday @5 home against Walkersville.

Also the boys and girls track teams compete tomorrow at Urbana for the Frederick county Championships. Good luck knights!
