All MHS sophomores and juniors actively studying dance who are interested in induction into the National Honor Society for Dance Arts should submit their name to Ms. Langley no later than this Friday, May eleventh.

Former and current Athletic Coaching class students are reminded to turn in their permission slips for Middletown Elementary School’s Field Day.  See Coach Leber if you have questions.

Due to testing for the next two weeks, the media center may be used for silent work/printing only during all blocks–this includes lunch shifts.

Just a reminder: if you need to use the media center during Knight’s Quest, you  MUST sign up in the media center before eight-thirty every day. If you are not requested for that day, you may not use the media center during Knight’s Quest.

This Wednesday through Friday, members of the MHS Key Club Relay for Life team will be collecting donations during all lunch shifts. All money collected will be donated to the American Cancer Society in honor of Deputy Smothers.

Attention any juniors interested in serving on the class of 2019 executive board. Applications can be picked up in room 516, Mrs. Anderson’s or portable 2 from Mrs. Boyll. Completed applications are due May 9th, 2018.

This year, the theme of the Middletown High School prom is Starry Night. It will take place on Friday, May 11th from 8-11 P.M. at the Myersville Banquet and Event Center. Tickets will be on sale from Friday, May 4 to Thursday May, 10 during all lunch shifts. Tickets will be 35 dollars for seniors, 40 dollars for juniors, and 45 dollars for guests. A dance guidelines form must be completed before purchasing tickets. Please see Mrs. Gibson or Mrs. Martin for more information.

The girls lacrosse team took on Brunswick at home for their senior night on Thursday. The knights won with a score of 20 to 7. Seniors, we congratulate you on a successful senior night and for your dedication to the girls lacrosse team.

The baseball team hosted Williamsport on Thursday and fell to them with a score of 7 to 6.
Also on thursday, the Tennis team finished their regular season with a match against Catoctin and won 5 to 0. The girls had an overall record of 16 to 2 and the boys finished with an overall record of 17 to 1. Congratulations on a successful season knights!

On Friday, the softball team played Boonsboro at home. The won with a score of 11-2. Congratulations knights!

The baseball team also hosted Boonsboro at home on Friday and fell to the Warriors 12 to 1.

The boys lacrosse team took on Century on Friday and won 7 to 4. Luke Hallman had three goals while Colton McCracken, Roland Hockenberry, Taylor Bromwell, and Nic Weldon all scored one. James Pugh had 12 saves in the goal. Congratulations knights!
