The Beat: Arias trial shelved again

The+Beat%3A+Arias+trial+shelved+again

The last phase of the Jodi Arias trial, deciding on the death penalty, has been postponed again due to scheduling conflicts with her attorney. Arias was charged for the murder of her then-boyfriend, Travis Alexander, in the June of 2008. The body of the deceased had excessive wounds, indicating more than just self-defense.  A new jury has been brought in to decide her fate.

“It doesn’t really sound like self defense. You don’t stab-stab-stab, slashy-throaty – head trauma… in self-defense.”
