Girls Swimming and Diving: Knights float to win over Brunswick

The Knights cruised to an easy win over the Railroaders, in a meet that was done from the start.

The Middletown High School Knights girls swimming and diving team cruised to an easy 141-38 win over the Brunswick High School Railroaders on Jan 6th.

The Knights (3-0) would take an early lead against the Railroaders and never look back as the Knights would only lose two events; the 200 yard individual medley and the 100 yard backstroke.

Middletown would get out to an early 30-13 lead after the first three events and increase it every event throughout the rest of the meet.

The Knights would also sweep the top 3 in multiple events including the 200 yard freestyle, the 50 yard freestyle, the 100 yard butterfly, the 100 yard freestyle, the 500 yard freestyle, and the 100 yard breaststroke.

Middletown would eclipse the 120 point mark for the third time in three meets and won by 100 points or more for the second time in those three meets.
