The Knights will look to break past a barrier against Mountain Ridge

The Knights will look to come together and take down Mountain Ridge for a birth in the sectional final.

The Middletown High School Volleyball team will head to Mountain Ridge High School in Frostburg to take on the Miners on Nov. 4.

The last time the Knights took the court they took down the Lions of Walkersville 3-0 in the 2A West Section 1 quarterfinals. The Knights dominated the inferior Lions, and never looked back on the way to victory.

The Miners are the one seed in 2A West Section 1, and had a bye in the first round.
