Bird causes fracas in journalism class

A bird, identified by Middletown High School science teacher Scott Bean as a house wren, flew into English teacher Noah Kady’s second period journalism class on Jan. 10, 2011. This is not the first time that suburban wildlife has caused a distraction at MHS. – Photo by Blair Donald

Is the bird still there? Last year AP Watson netted a few birds, wrestled w/ a family of skunks at the stadium, and a deer broke the cafeteria door by running head into it (it was caught on video).
