Fall Fashion is Fierce

  By Chrissy Payne

Fall is right around the corner, but while we squeeze out the last bit of summer new trends are here.

Plaid is everywhere; this is the season’s hottest trend. Flannel plaid shirts that button up in the front are the best. Try wearing the shirts with jeans for a relaxed look, or you can pair it with a matching belt around the shirt to help bring the outfit together.

Another option is plaid dresses paired with stylish shoes, which will complete your look.

While it’s still warm, gladiator sandals in metallic colors or studs are chic. Even without the studs, Gladiator sandals can still be worn. Try them with a skirt or shorts, or even a dress.

To dress up a casual look, try getting some in a vibrant color and make a statement. These kinds of shoes are the ones that will make your outfit standout, and give you a bold look.

Studs, Studs, Studs are in this season. They are being seen on shoes, bags, and purses. They are the rocker-style for women looking to be seen as a little rough around the edges. If you’re looking to be adventurous wear them on your clothes for a bold statement. If not, you can always just wear them on your accessories for a daring look.

One of my personal favorites for the fall is high waisted skirts. Skirts that can be worn above the waist with the shirts tucked in. A belt can make the outfit look put-together.

It’s a fearless way to bring your outfit together and look good at the same time. Try matching a long necklace or “standout” earrings to complete your look.

This fall my four key must-have items are an audacious handbag (one that grabs peoples’ attention making them do a double take).

A bold pair of shoes, it might be the ones that go with everything or special ones that you only wear occasionally because they only go with certain outfits.

Another is a fall jacket, its not quite winter yet but it’s going to start getting cold. Get a jacket that is heavy, but not too heavy. Try buying one that’s a vibrant color, or if you’re not feeling adventurous, try one in a neutral tone.

Last but not least is self confidence. Showing self confidence will help you feel comfortable with yourself and will show others that your not afraid to be fearless.

Take this advice and make it your own, try putting a twist on it. Be unique and be yourself and if you have that, that’s all you need.
