All students taking AP exams: there is a mandatory meeting on Tuesday, April 23 in the auditorium.  Students whose last names begin with A through J should report at nine o-five and students whose last names begin with J through Z should report at ten o’clock. These times have been changed from the original information on the AP bulletin. Please remember that this meeting is mandatory.

The commitment forms for Senior Showcase are due on Monday, April 22 to Ms. Leonard by two-thirty p.m.

Seniors, as the end of the year draws quickly to a close. Please make sure you tell your counselor or Ms. Dillard where you will be attending college next year.

McDaniel College is hosting a Summer Science Academy for high school students. The class subjects include forensic science, robotics, space and rockets, and “real world” advanced laboratory.  All students who successfully complete at least one week of the camp will be guaranteed a $40,000 scholarship to McDaniel College.  For more information, stop by the Counseling Center. Registration ends June 1.

The following clubs will not meet today: Future Business Leaders of America, Bananagrams, Gay Straight Alliance, Future Educators of America, Sophomore Executive Board, Envirothon and National Dance Honor Society.  The Drama club will meet in room 210.

Don’t miss Middletown’s spring musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, this Friday and Saturday at seven, and Sunday at two p.m.  Where else could you find mad vocals, a rockin’ orchestra, Elvis, and Biblical characters in one show?  Did I mention dancing camels? Come out and support your classmates who are singers, actors, musicians, and techies. Tickets on sale during lunch and at the door.

April is here, and that means it’s time to vote for the Maryland High School Black-Eyed Susan book award! If you have read three or more of the Black-Eyed Susan nominees this year, please come to the Media Center next Tuesday to vote for your favorite title, and to make your own ice cream sundae in our Media Workroom.

Attention Members of the Spanish Honor Society: the money for graduation cords is due to Mrs. Bitner in room 517 before two-fifteen today.

Congratulations to Jason Thomopulos who won his singles tennis match yesterday against Liberty.

The girls lacrosse team had a winning week. On Tuesday they defeated Frederick fifteen to six and Thursday evening the lady knights won eighteen to two over the T.J. Patriots.

The Unified Track Team had an excellent meet Wednesday night.  Our four by one hundred relay team came in first place. Way to go Cal Hediger, Genna Gincley Genevia Funk and Emma Carlson!  Our four by four hundred team also came in first place. Way to go Casey Dutrow, Josh Howard, Rachel Williams and Sean Bovill!  Other great performers included Marshall Truitt, Josh Howard, Joe McIntosh, Dylan O’Toole, Noelle Anders, Sean Bovill, Rachel Williams, and Josh Howard. Great job done by everyone!  Keep up the great work!  Everyone come out and see the Unified track team on Monday, April twenty-second at Tuscarora starting at three thirty.
