Seniors: There will be a senior class meeting this Friday, April 12 during first block.  It is mandatory that seniors attend.  There will also be a class of 2013 picture taken so wear your Senior Girl, Senior Guy, or Class of 2013 t-shirts.  If you ordered a Class of 2013 t-shirt, you may pick it up from Ms. Leonard in Room 208.

Science National Honor Society Graduation Cords will be ordered this Friday, April 12.  The cost is $12.  Please have checks to Mrs. Brandt as soon as possible.

All members of Rho Kappa are asked to come to a very brief meeting today after school at two twenty in room 211.

There is a mandatory FBLA meeting on Thursday right after school in Mr. Roark’s room for members who are attending the State Leadership Conference in Baltimore. The meeting should only last about 15 minutes so please be on time.

Seniors: please let Ms. Dillard or your counselor know what colleges you have been accepted to and where you plan to attend in the fall.

Hot and sunny, not quite dusty, still in search of “Treasure” – The Not Book Group, Book Group meets this afternoon after school with a hearty welcome for all at the Middletown Branch Library!

Attention all freshmen who are interested in playing JV football for this upcoming season: There will be a brief meeting after school this Wednesday, April 10 at 2:20 p.m in Mrs. Nicklas’s room, 210. The meeting will last for 10 minutes so it will not impact any practices or afterschool activities. Please see Coach Lynott if you have any questions.

Come out and join us for the ninth annual production of Sully-Egret Hour written, directed, and produced by Duncan Star Boszko. This production is one night only on Friday, April 12 at 6:30 p.m in the MHS auditorium so don’t miss it! Admission is free!

The MHS girls track team won the Quince Orchard Cougar Relays last Saturday for their fourth straight victory. Outstanding performances included Megan Kelly taking first in the three hundred hurdles. Megan was also a part of the winning four by four hundred relay team, along with Natalie Smith, Stephanie Bidle and Zoe Wolfe. Paige Bussard and Erin Doherty took second in the Discus and Shot Put, Erin Smith and Brianna Warrenfeltz placed second in the triple jump, and the sprint medley relay team of Camille Coston, Megan Kelly, Natalie Smith and Felicia Clements placed fourth.

The Unified Track Team had an excellent meet last night. Josh Howard placed first in the four hundred, Joe McIntosh placed second in the eight hundred, our relay team placed second and Dylan O’Toole came in first place in the shot put.  Great job done by everyone!  Keep up the good work.  Everyone is invited to come out and see the Unified track team on Wednesday, April 17 at Tuscarora starting at four.

Congratulations to the Girls Tennis team who won against Frederick yesterday three to two.  Winners for Boys Tennis against Frederick include Jason Thomopulos in singles and Zach Fontenot and Etienne Utiger in doubles.

Congratulations to Caitlin McClister for being selected to participate in this year’s Maryland versus Pennsylvania All-Star Game. Caitlin will play this Saturday at East Pennsboro High School in Harrisburg. The game starts at 7:15. A big thank you to Caitlin for representing MHS and we wish her the very best.
