Acting class wows audience

On May 18 the students of Marcy Nicklas’ advanced acting class presented its final performance project consisting of three one act plays. The first performance was “Gloria Mundi” by Patricia Brown directed by seniors Katie Johnson and Angie Bernazani. The setting was a mental hospital where all the patients and staff had unique conditions.

The second performance of the night was “I Can Explain” by Bruce Kane directed by juniors Sarah Biggs and Crista Kowalski. The performance focused on two separate couples and the struggles of dating in modern times.

The third and final performance of the night was “Baby” by Conrad Davidson directed by seniors Beth Aldrich and Maegan Clearwood. The play took the audience inside the head of a newborn infant and what she is thinking during her first year of life; meeting her family members and babysitters while being guided by her very own baby coach.
