MHS’s SGA to host blood drive

Every minute of every day, someone needs blood.

The Student Government Association at Middletown High School  will  host its bi-annual blood drive for the American Red Cross on Oct. 26.

Any student 16 or older is eligible to donate. All students must complete a donor packet before giving blood.

SGA’s goal is to sign up 40 donors for the drive.

Only three out of every 100 people in America donate blood, according to redcross.org.

“I’m very excited to give blood this year because I am finally old enough. I want to save a life,” said MHS junior Abby Buchanan.
