The Middletown High School JV football team will head to Catoctin on Oct. 16 to take on the Cougars.

The Knights are 5-0 this year and have been dominating their opponents; their point differential this year is +102.

The last time out for the Knights they took down Governor Thomas Johnson in a high scoring affair, the final score was 40-20.

This has been a fairly easy season for the Knights, but they did have one close game on the road in Linganore in which they won only 19-12.

The Cougars obliterated Brunswick on Oct. 9; the final score was 40-0. The Knights played Brunswick on Sept. 18 and cruised to a 48-0 victory.

The freshmen team will travel to North Hagerstown looking for their fifth straight victory. After losing its first game 7-6, Middletown has rattled off five straight wins.

The last time out the Knights beat Thomas Johnson for the second straight game, but this time by a score of 33-6 instead of 6-0 like the last time.

The future of Knights football has looked good thus far, lets see if they can keep it up tonight.
