Field Hockey: Knights look to slice Lancers

Middletown High School Knights Varsity Field Hockey will play against Linganore tonight at home at 4:00pm. The Middletown team holds a record of 2-3 while the Linganore team 3-2.

The Knights have been very up and down this season.

They have been winning big but also loosing big. In their past two games they crushed Catoctin 6-0, but lost to Century on the other hand, 0-6.

The Knights are trying to maintain consistency for the rest of the season. Tonight it will be tough for the Knights as they take on Linganore, which is one of the top teams in the county.

The Knights have been helped out by their goaltenders, MHS senior Jasmine Spring and MHS sophomore Emma Provost who have both done well in the playing time that they have seen this season.

The Knights attackers have also been back and forth this season with multiple girls including Katie Cowan, Samantha Yeager, Laura Myers, Sarah Mueller, and Arianna Ogle scoring goals for the Knights during their games.

The Knights JV Field Hockey team will look to break the .500 mark as they take on Lingnanore today.

The Knights (2-2-1) are looking for help up front, as their offense has been limited over the past couple of games.
