Knights look to end season with a bang

The Knights have qualified for states; now they will look to enter on a high note.

The Middletown High School Knights Golf team will look to close out their regular season on a high note when they take on the Frederick High School Cadets, Linganore High School Lancers, and North Hagerstown High School Hubs at 4 P.M. on Monday at Hollow Creek Golf Course.

The Knights hope to land on top of this quad-match and carry positive momentum into the state playoffs at the University of Maryland-College Park Golf Course on October 29th and 30th.

The Knights have been led by sophomore Jake Darr who helped the Knights reach the state playoffs by shooting a 76 during the 1A-2A District 1 Championship and leading the Knights to a 1st place and an automatic berth in the 1A-2A State Championship.

Knights senior Shane Cleverly just missed tying his teammate shooting a 77 and creating a 1-2 finish for the two golfers at Black Rock Golf Course in Hagerstown, Maryland.
