The University of Maryland is hosting two summer programs as part of the University’s entrepreneurship initiatives – one is a competition and one is an online program. More information is in Guidance.
The ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) an interest/aptitude test and will be given here on Friday, March 30th at 7:30 am. This test may help you identify your interests and abilities. The sign up list is in guidance and no information will be given to the military. Please see Mrs. Throne if you have any questions.
Congratulations to the Concert Band for earning a Superior rating yesterday at the F. C. P. S. band adjudication. A Superior is the highest rating possible and qualifies the band for the Maryland state adjudication.
Middletown beat Frederick High 3 to 2 in boys varsity tennis.
After winning against Boonsboro on Wednesday 4-1 the Girls Tennis Team won again yesterday against Frederick 3-2. Good Luck today against Liberty.
JUNIORS: If you are in the top twenty percent of your class, and you are strongly considering Gardner-Webb University, you could be nominated for a merit scholarship if you enroll there next school year. Please see Mrs. Blair by April thirteenth if you would like to be nominated.
ALL cast and crew for West Side Story must turn in production contracts and fees to Mrs. Nicklas by Friday, March 23. Anyone who has not submiited a contract will be dismissed from rehearsals.

There will be a FOX Island meeting in Rm 305 after school Tuesday, March 27, 2012 with Mr. Bean and Mrs. Steger.
FFA Members who wish to participate in Ag Day by driving tractors, bringing animals or simply as a tour guide, need to stay for the mandatory meeting on March twenty eighth. If you are not at the meeting, you may not participate. Ag Day is April twenty seventh.
