Shannon McKenna is a senior at Middletown High School and is a journalism six student. Journalism has become one of her main interests along with photography. Although she hasn’t been a part of the media world as long as others, she has already won an awards from the Frederick News Post and competed in the WVU journalism competition. Over the summer Shannon participated in the Washington Journalism and Media Conference at George Mason University, which is a big honor. But aside from journalism and photography she loves preforming in the school musicals, listening to music, having photo shoots with her friends, and just relaxing. She will be attending West Virginia University to study journalism and communications next year. She lives her life by the motto “passion and drive help you live life to the fullest.”
