Trick-or-treaters in a hurry for sugar rush

Trick-or-treaters in Middletown get candy from one of their neighbors on Oct 31. Many children dress up and go trick or treating on Halloween, a tradition dating back to 1911 in North America. In Glenbrook on Oct. 28, a Halloween party was organized during which children and their parents dressed up, danced, and ate the provided snacks. Also on Oct. 28, Middletown High School seniors dressed up for Halloween. The National Art Honors Society carved pumpkins for Halloween, which were displayed in the Media Center. – Photos by Blair Donald
