The girls lacrosse team defeated Frederick last evening, eleven to five. Congrats to all the lady knights for a good team effort!
Reminder to FFA members:  All Ag day forms, greenhand and chapter degree applications and FFA Officer applications are due tomorrow by two thirty to Mrs. Shriner.  Proficiency Award applications are posted on the bulletin board and are due on April eighteenth.
Frederick County Public Schools and Frederick County Business Rountable for Education will host their annual FUTURE LINK CONFERENCE at FCC.  This program is similar to the MHS STEM program.  Every high school in Frederick County is permitted to send 40 students.  This is a free, all day event where breakfast and lunch are provided.  All students selected and registered by a specific date will be eligible to enter a drawing to win a free iPad.  If interested, please sign the list in front of Mrs. Brandt’s door (room 307). Student selection will be made by this Friday, April 13th. Registration starts on Sunday, April 14th on a first come basis. For more information, see Mrs. Brandt in room 307 or ask guidance about it.
The SGA would like to thank all those that donated blood on Friday before break.  We hit a record of 55 units of blood collected.  We had 64 register for the blood drive, and still had to turn people away due to time.  With these 55 units, that is potentially enough to save 165 lives out in the community.   American Red Cross sincerely thanks all the students and staff at Middletown High School.  Our next blood drive is scheduled for Thursday October 18, 2012. Mark your calendars.
SSL Tutors, Interns and Work Study students are reminded that March timecards are due to Mr. Zimmer today.
The Unified track team will be dismissed from class at 2:00 for the track meet at Catoctin.
Any art student interested in attending the New York field trip on Friday, April 27th see an art teacher for a permission slip.
A creative Knight is motivated by the desire to achieve, not the desire to beat others.
