Congratulations to the Unified Track team on their meet at Tuscarora yesterday. Athletes and managers, you all did an amazing job!

The MHS Drama Department presents Footloose on April twenty-second and twenty-third at seven PM  and April twenty-fourth at two PM. Tickets are ten dollars for adults and eight dollars for students and senior citizens. Tickets will be available for purchase during lunch shifts all next week and also available  at the door. Tickets for the Prom will be on sale during lunches from Monday, April eighteenth through Friday, April twenty-ninth. CTC and work study students may purchase tickets before or after school in room 430. All students must have a completed Dance Guideline Form to purchase tickets. Forms are available in the media center, front office and school store.

Attention all students taking AP exams: You must attend the mandatory meeting on Monday during second block in the auditorium. Please see Mrs. Sgrignoli in the Media Center today if you if you need to come to the make-up session or if you have any questions.

Congratulations to Paul Karth and Zoe Maliszewski for winning the Read Across Maryland Poetry and Art Contest.  Each student will receive a gift certificate to Barnes & Noble.

Everyone is invited to come and enjoy the Student Art Show featuring the artwork of elementary, middle, and high school students from Myersville, Wolfsville, and Middletown. The Student Art Show will be in the MHS cafeteria on Tuesday, April nineteenth from six to eight PM. In addition to the Student Art Show, MHS will be hosting the Empty Bowls Banquet.

Are you interested in the legal system? Does a career in political science, criminal justice, law enforcement, or legal counsel sound exciting? Frederick County’s Law Day, on May third, allows students to observe legal proceedings in a courtroom as real cases are in session. Students can also meet with judges in an informal setting. If you are interested in attending or having questions, please see Ms Brennan in room 212 by Thursday, April twenty-first.

Attention any MHS students who needs SSL hours or who just likes to have fun. The eighth Annual Boonsboro Green Fest is on Saturday May seventh, Mother’s Day Weekend. Volunteers can sign up for morning, afternoon, or all day shifts. There will be great food, hundreds of vendors, live music, and much more. Please see Mr. Haardt for how to sign up or go to Boonsboro Green Fest dot com. Deadline to register is Monday, April twenty-fifth.
