Today at the Middletown branch library at 3:00 P.M. is Time for Slime!  We will be making Galaxy Goo. And tomorrow at 3:00 P.M. is the Teen Advisory Board.  Come and tell us what programs you want at the library this Spring.  There will be Pizza!

This is a reminder to Students who are applying for the Ft. Detrick National Cancer Institute Internship.  The deadline is Dec. 22nd.  Please note that you should complete your online application before that date so your Teacher recommendations will be completed in time. Recommendations are not generated until you complete your application.  Please see Mrs. Gibson or Mr. Zimmer if you need further clarification.

The Middletown High School Future Business Leaders of America is selling holiday ornaments! They include large orange or black colors with the letter M for Middletown and small black with the letter M for Middletown. There are also large black ornaments with a hand sketched Knight head. Ornaments are priced at $7.50, tax included, for the small ornaments and $15.00, tax included, for the large. These will be sold on Tuesdays and Thursdays during all lunch shifts and after school until 2:45pm.

The Optimist Club of Frederick is sponsoring The Optimist International Essay Contest and the theme is “Lead by Example: Reality or Fiction.” There is a cash prize for the local winner and the local winning essay will be sent to the district level where college scholarships are available.  If you are interested, please see Ms. Leonard in Room 517 for the application.  Deadline for submission is Feb. 1.

There will be a Sophomore Class executive meeting today at 2:20 P.M. in room 203.  All sophomores are welcome to attend.
