Students who received an invitation to join the National English Honor Society are reminded to pick up applications from Ms. Leonard in Room 510. The application, student writing, and fifteen dollar dues are due to Ms. Leonard no later than Dec. 8.

Juniors and Seniors: College representatives from Virginia Tech will be visiting Wednesday and Virginia Commonwealth University will be visiting Thursday. If you are interested in attending please sign up through Naviance or in the Counseling Center.

Juniors and their parents are invited to the MHS “Junior Night” on Thursday, Dec. 4 at 6:30 in the auditorium. Counselors will review graduation requirements, provide options for senior year, and discuss college applications.

Middletown Middle School is hosting their biggest fundraiser for the PBIS program – A school dance. They are looking for a high school student who would be interested in being DJ or emcee or if there is a high school cover band made up of MHS students who would like to perform for service hours. The dance will either be Feb. 6 from 6-8 or Feb. 12 from 3-5. If you are interested, please see Mrs. Gibson or Mr. Zimmer in room 315.

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes will meet Tuesday morning before school at 6:45 in Room 311. Everyone is welcome for a time of faith, fellowship, food, and fun. That’s tomorrow morning before school at 6:45.

The MHS Ice Hockey team, despite having only 9 skaters suited up, defeated the Urbana Hawks 6-4 over the Thanksgiving break. Sean Mickelson led the attack with 3 goals. The Knights take the ice again this Friday at 4:00 against Oakdale.
