Love food? Come check out the “Let’s Eat” Horticulture Workshop this Wednesday from 2:30 until 4:00 in room 430. It’s free, open to all and there is no need to sign up! See you there!

Attention sophomores, juniors, and seniors graders:  If you are interested in a career in the military and would like to take the ASVAB test, please sign up in the Counseling office by Friday, Nov. 20.

All tech crew interested in participating in A Christmas Carol:  There will be a tech meeting this Thursday in the auditorium from five to six.  Please see Mrs. Duva if you are unable to attend.  Also, set building will begin this Saturday from nine to three.  A complete set-building schedule will be posted soon.

Students and Staff:  Friday is a special day! It is World Kindness Day!  Middletown High School will be celebrating this event. We encourage everyone to wear blue on Friday to show a commitment to treating others with kindness.  As the Dalai Lama said, “Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible.”

The Middletown athletic department would like to congratulate Joshua Paige for winning the Virginia Beach National wrestling tournament on Nov. 7. Way to go Joshua!

A reminder that the volleyball team travels to Mountain Ridge tonight for their first playoff game starting at 7:00 P.M. The boys soccer team will be home tomorrow against Century at 6:00 P.M. On Wednesday, the MHS field hockey team will travel to Broadneck high school to play Marriott’s Ridge at 5:00 P.M. in the state semifinal game. The admission for state semifinal games is $8.

Finally, stop by the media center on Thursday at 2:45 P.M. to see which Middletown student-athletes will be signing their national letter of intent.
