The Middletown Veterans Support Group is hosting a donation drive from now until January 5th. There is a drop off in the cafeteria for whatever you bring in. 

On Thursday, January 4th, Future Business Leaders of America will be holding for the second time, their Regional Conference. Schools from all over the State will come and compete in competitive Business related events to try and Qualify for the State conference. Wishing those from Middletown best of luck in your event.

The girls varsity basketball team participated in the Ron Engle Classic hosted at Middletown High School over the winter break. The girls defeated the Wise Puma’s in their first game with the score of 55-35. In the girls second game they defeated Battlefield 71-35.

The wrestling team played in the Mount Mat Madness over break. The team placed 8th overall with Noah Grossnickle and Cam farrow both placing 7th and Josh Paige and Sean Herman both placing 2nd.

Over break, both boys and girls varsity track and field teams competed in two different meets. On December 22nd, the teams traveled to Hagerstown Community College to compete at the Dwight Scott Invitational. The boys placed fourth overall with a score of 63 and the girls tied for seventh with Brunswick HS, scoring 27.5 points. For the teams second meet over the break, they traveled to the Prince Georges Sports and Learning Complex on December 29th to compete in the AACPS Indoor Track and Field Invite. The boys team score 40 points overall to place 3rd and the girls scored 27 points to place 8th, tying with Annapolis HS.
