We are looking for actors and other funny people for our November Comedy Extravaganza: #ROFL

You can sign up to audition outside Ms. Denton’s room 508. Auditions are this Thursday evening, Sept. 13 or Friday, September 14, after school. See Ms. Denton or Ms. Duva to pick-up required audition papers. Everyone is invited to audition. More details about the comedy’s, the roles and the scenes for auditions are posted on the Drama board outside the auditorium.

Seniors who have not yet had their senior portrait photo taken or are having a new photo taken are scheduled for make-ups on Wednesday, September 12, and Thursday, September 13, in the auditorium. Please check the schedule posted on the yearbook bulletin board in the senior hallway for your appointed time. If you are having a photo taken only for use in the yearbook and do not want any additional senior photos, you do not have to pay a sitting fee. Please tell the representative from the studio in the auditorium before you have your photo taken. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Kady in Room 312 or at [email protected] as soon as possible.

Club Sign-Ups will be coming soon.  A list of club offerings will be posted in the Cafeteria at lunch this week.  If you would like to start a new club there will also be Club Request Forms available.  You will need to find 8 other students interested in the club and a teacher adviser for the club to be added.  Forms should be submitted to Mrs. Roberts in the Counseling Center.

The varsity football team won 35-0 against Baltimore Polytechnic Institute with passes from Reese Poffenbarger resulting in touchdowns by Colton McKraken and Brandon Malko. The Knights had two rushing touchdowns from Isaiah Dowery and another from Poffenbarger.

Unified tennis season starts soon. See Mr. Bean in room 427 if you are interested in joining the Unified Tennis team.

Girls and boys cross country are traveling to Governor Thomas Johnson today at 3:40.

Girls soccer plays away at Urbana tonight at 7.

Boys soccer plays at home tonight against Urbana at 7.

Volleyball plays tonight at home at 7.
