The MHS Choir and Orchestra will hold a concert tonight at 7 PM in the MHS auditorium. All are invited and admission is free.

Congratulations to Gisselle Arias, Sabella Barron, and Alyssa Vandegrift! Their holiday card designs were selected winners for the Curriculum Instruction and Innovation Holiday Card Art Contest. Gisselle’s scene of a snow covered road with deer was selected by the Career and Technology Education Department. Sabella’s soldier surprise homecoming card design was selected by the Curriculum Instruction Director’s Doctor Cuppett, Doctor Seaton, and Doctor Stark. Alyssa’s evening winter cabin scene was selected by the Secondary Science Curriculum Department. Each winning artist will receive a set of professionally printed holiday cards with their design on them. Congrats Ladies!

Today is the tech run through of A Midsummer Night’s dream in preparation of opening night tomorrow.

Last night the Knights Swim team defeated Urbana.  The boys won with a score of 125 to 45, while the girls won with a score of 89 to 81. Multiple winners include Kayla Burgess, Maddie Wells, Sophia Stafford, Julia Milner, Jacob Stafford, Josh Baird, Tommy Wells, Jake Wornom, John Pressly and Jacob Hoyt. A special congratulations to Jacob Stafford, Josh Baird, Tommy Wells and John Pressly who bettered the team’s school record in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1.43.57 seconds.
