Attention all students: Semester 2 starts on Tuesday, Jan. 24.  You will not receive a paper copy of your second semester schedule, so you should refer to your HAC account and look up your schedule. Be sure you figure out where to go on Tuesday.

The media center will be closed after school today for a meeting. We apologize for any inconvenience.

The Knights wrestling team defeated South Carroll last night at home 43-24.  Individual winners included: Sean Farran, Danny Bertoni, Josh Paige, Adam Bain, Nick Madden, Mert Gulen, Sean Herrmann, Tyler Clemmer, and Sean Mullican.  The next match is Wednesday, Jan. 25 at Urbana.

Congratulations to the Mock Trial team who won their match last night at the Frederick County Courthouse against TJ High School with a score of 50-48.  They have a bye next week and then they will take on Tuscarora High the following week.

The bocce team lost a tough match against Brunswick in overtime yesterday.  Brunswick was ahead in the overtime frame and Jillian Herman made a great throw with Middletown’s final ball to give Middletown the lead.  Brunswick answered back with an amazing match winning throw to secure the win for Brunswick for a super exciting finish. Come see how exciting bocce is and support the team at their next home match on Wednesday, the 25 at 3:30 PM in the cafeteria.

Last night, the Middletown swim team defeated Brunswick.  The boys won with a score of 121-54, while the girls won with a score of 123-53.  Multiple winners include: Jake Stafford, Josh Baird, Thomas Wells, Jake Wornom, Maddie Wells, Sophia Stafford, Julia Milner, Lauren Edsall, and Kayla Burgess. Eric McMunn was the diving winner. A special shout out to Jake Stafford for breaking the team record from 1999 for the 100 breaststroke!
