Women in Science and Engineering meets tomorrow night at the FCPS Earth and Space Science Laboratory at 7 PM. The group is open to all females in grades 9-12 who are interested in learning about science and engineering careers. The featured guest speaker this month is a portfolio operations manager at Astrazeneca. They will have cool science door prizes and a hands-on science activity. No registration needed! Bring a friend!

Juniors and Seniors:  Hood College will be coming back to visit Middletown on Monday, Dec. 19 during Knights Quest.  Their “Take Hood Home” program sends current Hood students and local alumni back to their high schools to talk about their college experience.  So if you would like more detail on life at Hood, please sign up through Naviance or stop by the Counseling office to attend.

Don’t forget – If you are interested in coding during Knight’s Quest, Ms. Weaver will be hosting coding in the Media Center today, tomorrow, and Thursday. If you would like to participate, sign up in the Media Center with Ms. Weaver or Mrs. Sgrignoli.

Last night the Knights Swim team hosted their first meet against Frederick. The boys won with a score of 112 to 58, while the girls lost a very close meet 86 to 84. Multiple winners include Maggie Williamson, Maddie Wells, Sophia Stafford, Julia Milner, Jacob Stafford, Josh Baird, Tommy Wells, Jake Wornom and Jacob Hoyt. A special congratulations to Jacob Stafford, Josh Baird, Tommy Wells and Jake Wornom who broke a 20 school record in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1.44.26 seconds. The Knights will be hosting Urbana on Wednesday.
