Attention all current Quill and Scroll members and those who wish to apply for membership in the spring semester:  There will be a brief but mandatory meeting on Wednesday, March second, in Room 312 at two twenty. Applications for new members will be handed out at that time. If you are unable to attend, you MUST see Mr. Kady ahead of time.

On Friday, March fourth during Activity Period, the Catoctin Creek Nature Center will be visiting in room 307 and talking about careers that involve animals, outdoors and all of nature. To sign up, use the codes around the school or sign up during lunches in the cafeteria.

The deadline to apply for admission to CTC for the 2016-2017 school year is Friday, March fourth.

Come out and support your knights as our girls basketball team takes on Walkersville tonight at Walkersville High School at six thirty. All tickets are six dollars. Hope to see you there!

Congratulations to the boys basketball team who beat Walkersville last night with a score of seventy-seven to fifty-one. Tomorrow night the boys will take on Williamsport at home at six PM and tickets are six dollars.

Girls trying out for tennis should meet in the cafeteria immediately after school today so paperwork can be collected.

Attention all students: Remember that you must remain in the cafeteria in the mornings until the seven fifteen bell has rung. Students found in the hallways before that time may face disciplinary consequences.

Attention junior girls: If you are interested in attending Girls State this summer, please see Ms. Bagnell in the Counseling Center for more information.

Seniors: We need your pictures for the baccalaureate slideshow. A maximum of five photos per student can be emailed to MHS B A C C 2016 at G mail dot com. Be sure to submit them by April eighth. Also, all Baccalaureate program cover designs must be submitted by March seventh.

Tomorrow is Read Across America Day so don’t forget to come dressed as your favorite Dr. Seuss Character!  The list of activities to support Read Across Maryland Month begin today:  The National English Honor Society is sponsoring a Poetry and Art Contest. Post your favorite book story, or poem at the Cat in the Hat in the cafeteria and consider participating in or attending a Poetry Slam! Event on Thursday, March seventeenth. See Ms. Leonard in Room 517 for more information.
